In 2017, Martin Addo met Monifa Maat and together they reached a fundraising goal of $35,000 which completed the first phase of the Market – the building of 10 toilets (5 male and 5 female) and 6 showers (3 female and 3 males, plus a water tank for a sustainable clean water source.
